There are orange vests made for dogs. They are held on with velcro. They work fine. They get used to it quickly. Put it on the dog as you get ready to go on a walk. The dog gets to think of the vest as a good thing because it means a walk. As for rolling in stinky things, Molly when she was a puppy rolled in a nice big fresh pile of bull stinky stuff. The only water was a trickle of a stream. It was not a nice ride home. She still sometimes rolls in deer or horse stinky stuff. Thats what dogs do. It's a dog thing I guess.

Do you have vests specifically for the dogs? I put a people vest on Jonah one day and it lasted till he decided to roll in stinky stuff. Then he rolled right out of it and didn't want it back on.

I'm pretty sure I got hers at Walmart. The velcro is good because if the dog gets tangled up in anything, she can pull and the velcro opens so the dog does not get stuck because of the vest.It may come off a couple times but well worth getting one.....Chuck

RE: [LbNA] Reply to cerieph's dog questions
My previous dog Brandi found a spot where for some reason, someone dumped a big bucket of fish near Lake Williams in Lebanon CT. It was probably there a few days before she got to it. Talk about a slimy stinky mess. Unbelieveabe. That was her worst one. Except for the time she got sprayed by a skunk but thats a different story.....Chuck and Molly
